Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Al Salama School of Safety Studies. We would like to thank you for choosing us as your study associate.
The Terms & Conditions here in under are deemed to have been read, understood and agreed upon once the course booking has been processed. The terms and conditions are binding once the booking form has been signed and submitted.
We, Al Salama School of Safety Studies confirm that we are not committing any guarantee on Passing the Examination or Placements for any candidate joining for any courses here; rather we provide Quality of class, internal assessments, free registration in job portal, placement assistance and support in India and Abroad.
Kindly confirm that the details in these terms and conditions on the booking form are complete and accurate before you commit yourself to confirming your course. If you need any clarification on any mentioned points please ensure that the same is been cleared before accepting the terms and conditions
Student Conduct
Students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and to recognise that other students may require support and assistance. If a student becomes persistently disruptive, the Institute reserves the right to give a verbal and/or written warning. If a student is dismissed for misconduct, no refund will be given. Students are encouraged to arrive for classes on time. Late entry to the class is at the discretion of the lecturer. Students are advised to switch off fans, A/C and lights when they leave the class rooms.
Data Protection
The Institute endeavours to keep any personal information, divulged by the applicant, confidential. Such personal data will not be given to third parties. Personal information will only be used for educational, promotional or marketing purposes unless the applicant does not wish to receive such information.
Public Holiday
There are no classes on public holidays, unless in particular circumstances, the Institute deems it fit that classes are to be held as usual. Students will receive a reminder via faculty where a class is scheduled on a public holiday.
Liability
The Institute, its employees and representatives accept no responsibility for any loss of or damage to personal belongings or property of the student, or for any personal injury to a student occurring on the Institute premises whether by theft or any such incidents. Students are liable for any damage caused to the Institute’s premises and will be penalized.
Usage Of Labs / Classrooms
While undergoing course at Al Salama School of Safety Studies, students are not allowed to install any software without the consent of Institute staff, or change any computer set-ups or passwords. Authorisation must be sought before students can use any external storage devices (such as USBs or pen drives). No mobile phone, game gadgets or any other similar electronic equipment, unless with the consent of the Institute’s staff, is allowed to be used during class. Smoking in the Institute premises is strictly prohibited. Eating/drinking in classes are not allowed. Politics or religious talks are not entertained in the Institute premises.
Grants
The institute will assist students to fill in the necessary forms to qualify for funding opportunities by providing necessary documents. The Institute may launch initiatives, offers, study credits and new certifications having specific terms and conditions.
Validity of Registrations
The validity of Registration is for 3 months from the date of agreement signed and the candidate should ensure that they attend the class regularly, so that course gets finished by the expected class end date. The Institute are not liable for continuing with the Training after one year of Registration.
Rescheduling of Classes by the Institute
If a particular class is postponed for reasons for which the Institute is responsible, such as staff illness, the Institute will ensure that the class is rescheduled or where this is not possible, to add the missed hours on to the remaining course classes.
Cancellation by the Applicant & Non Attendance
Cancellation or non-attendance due to illness or for personal or professional reasons does not entitle the applicant to a refund, extra tuition or a transfer. However, in such an event the Institute will consider all the relevant circumstances and take proceed in a fair and reasonable manner. Kindly note that if any alternatives are offered additional charges may apply.
Fees
Full payment of the course fees must be received by the date of the course enrolment. Instalments on fees payment can be done upon the full discretion of Management. The institute will only confirm enrolments when a 50% deposit is made. It is at the discretion of the Institute to accept payment term agreements. Once a payment has been affected the prospective student will receive a receipt and details of the pending balance. No refunds offers and/or deposits will be provided should there be a cancellation once payment has been affected. Fees once paid are not refundable on any situations like student not attending class or they migrate to a job etc.
IGC Joining Instruction for Candidates
1.0 IMPORTANT
Every student admitted to the NEBOSH program must carefully read, understand and abide by the instruction stated below. Failure to do so will not be accepted as an excuse for breach of part or any of the instruction
2.0 DATE OF ARRAIVAL
All the students are required to report for registration and orientation at the institute/venue instructed, on the starting date of the program.
All the students are required to attend the HSE induction prior the program on the orientation day.
3.0 COURSE DETAILS
Candidates have been briefed about the various Nebosh courses suitable for their qualification and experience before committing the course. Our councillors will be helping you to choose right course for you. if you require more information you may mail us at sadiq_mhmd@yahoo.com
4.0 PAYMENT
Registration of the student and payment of tuition and other fees must be completed before the program. Specified payment schedule includes all the charges including face to face class training, printed study material, examination fee for single sitting. British council examination charges extra according to their charges. Payments are not returnable in case of discontinuing the course after the Nebosh registration.
5.0 COMMENCEMENT OF CLASSES
Classes will commence on xx/xx/xxxx at 9.00 AM and timetable will be availed during registration. All the candidates should appear for the mock examinations without fail. Candidate must ensure the best connectivity when they attend the virtual class.
5.0. MEDIUM OF COMMUNICATION AND EXAMINATION
The medium off communication and teaching will be in English and the examination will be in English language only.
Candidate must have adequate knowledge in English.
6.0 SUGESTIONS AND COMPLAINTS
A suggestion cum complaint register is available at reception and anybody can register their suggestions/ complaints in it. Complaints (if any) regarding the quality of training or examination results must raise to Al Salama through mail in the below mail ID Sadiq_mhmd@yahoo.com
7.0 DECLARATIONS
Students should submit required declarations according to the NEBOSH requirements.
8.0 TUTION MATERIALS AND TEXTBOOKS
Basic tuition materials developed by the institute will be provided. List off text books will be provided and students shall purchase the same if required.
9.0 STUDY TIME AND ASSIGNMENTS
Students should spend adequate time for studies besides the training time and properly submit the assignments given by the tutors in time to ensure the success in examination. Classes will be conducted from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM (if not mentioned otherwise) with tea and lunch break.
10.0 RE REGISTRATION
Students once registered for NEBOSH with Al salama couldn’t succeed in their first attempt shall re sit for the examination by reregistering. (Additional fee applicable)
